21.07.2008 Raporti vjetor i institucionit tė Ombudspersonit prezantoi gjendjen e tė drejtave tė njeriut. Pėrfundimet e kėtij raporti dėshmojnė se edhe gjatė kėsaj periudhe respektimi i tė drejtave tė njeriut nuk ėshtė nė nivel tė kėnaqshėm.

21.07.2008 Minatorėt kanė mbyllur sot atė qė e quajnė aksioni sindikal pėrmes njė proteste para Kryesisė sė Kuvendit. Duke deklaruar se nuk do tė ndalin pėrpjekjet e tyre deri nė fitimin e statusit tė minatorit, premtuan se do t’i kthehen aksionit nė shtator.

10.07.2008 With a huge majority, only one vote against and one abstaining vote, the Croatian Sabor (the Parliament) adopted the Law on Prevention of Discrimination that was the target of strong dissent and protests by the Catholic Church and other religious communities in Croatia, as well as some conservative NGOs.

10.07.2008 S većinom od 117 zastupnika, i uz samo jedan glas protiv i jedan suzdržan, Sabor je usvojio Zakon o suzbijanju diskriminacije, protiv kojega se posljednjih tjedana na noge dignula Katolička crkva, ali i ostale vjerske zajednice te dio konzervativnih nevladinih udruga.
