28.03.2005 The Voluntary Service Overseas VSO seeks a Coordination Partner for Bosnia and Herzegovina, organization that will assist in the implementation of the B&H programme for charity action. The goal of the programme is to correct the existing misbalance between the demand and supply of volunteers in the social and non-state sectors.

03.12.2004 The goal of this exchange programme, supported by the United States Institute for Peace, is to establish communication between the youth from Kosovo and Serbia. The process of getting to know each other, the war stories, exchange of experience and learning should help the youth to break the circle of hatred and build a better future for the region.

14.10.2004 Recognizing the need to develop the inter-youth dialogue, the Democratic Youth Initiative (DYI) and CARE International started a project for cooperation of the political parties youth organizations and youth NGOs, with the goal to improve the cooperation in dealing with mutual problems on local level.

08.09.2004 British Council in Zagreb invites all students in their freshmen year at the Zagreb University to get free-of-charge membership in its Library! They only need to present the Students Index Book and a wish to learn.

26.08.2004 Ten new resource centres (Brus, Zajecar, Majdanpek, Prokuplje, Pirot, Pozega, Valjevo, Sremska Mitrovica, Loznica and Ljig) started operating in Eastern and Western Serbia in June 2004. The Resource Centres are part of the “Support for Civil Society in Serbia” Project, jointly implemented by the European Agency for Reconstruction and Development and the European Movement in Serbia consortium, with the assistance of the Network of Experts, through the Fund for Support of Civil Society in Serbia.

23.08.2004 Under the auspices of the Days of European Cultural Heritage – with “Water” as its central subject theme – the civic association “Dobro Drvo” opens the Graphic Story Competition for Young Authors. The entrants can not be older than 30 years and should send their works from August 20 to September 20, 2004. The subject theme of the entries should be “Centuries of Culture on the Banks of the Danube River”.

18.12.2003 The Parliament of Serbia, in cooperation with the Council of Europe, launched a new web-site dedicated to ethnic tolerance. "We are very concerned over the events of the past years, and we decided to do something about it. The prejudices, the intolerance, ignorance, hatred, nationalism, the fear of the other – it all spells WAR. We fight those things and that is the only fight we consider justified".
